Abubakar Alhassan is a geopolitical and intelligence analyst with extensive experience. He has worked for private geopolitical firms and governmental bodies as a geopolitical and intelligence analyst covering Africa, Europe and the Middle East. He has a bachelor’s degree in International and comparative politics and a master’s degree in International relations, specialising in peace and conflict resolution. A native Yoruba speaker, Abubakar is also fluent in English.

Micah Pickus
Micah Pickus is a researcher specializing in international security, Russian studies, and OSINT. He holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Maryland and a B.A. in Russian Studies from Brandeis University. A 2024 Boren Fellow in Kazakhstan, his expertise includes arms control, cybersecurity, and Russian and Central Asian politics. He has conducted OSINT research for the Center for New American Security, the Institute for the Study of War, the American Enterprise Institute and the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. A recipient of multiple fellowships, he has presented on nuclear policy and published in English and Russian on security issues.
Dylan Motin, PhD
Dylan Motin holds a Ph.D. in political science. He is currently a visiting scholar at the Seoul National University Asia Center and a Non-resident Kelly Fellow at the Pacific Forum. He is also a non-resident fellow at the European Centre for North Korean Studies and a member of the executive committee of the ROK Forum for Nuclear Strategy. He was previously a Marcellus Policy Fellow at the John Quincy Adams Society and a visiting research fellow at the Institute for Far Eastern Studies. Dylan was named one of the Next Generation Korea Peninsula Specialists at the National Committee on American Foreign Policy and a Young Leader of the Pacific Forum. His research expertise revolves around international relations, and his main interests are great power competition, interstate conflicts, and Korean affairs. He is the author of Territorial Expansion and Great Power Behavior during the Cold War: A Theory of Armed Emergence (Routledge, 2025) and Bandwagoning in International Relations: China, Russia, and Their Neighbors (Vernon Press, 2024).
